UV Replacement Bulbs

  • All bulb orders ship on the 1st Friday of each month
  • This applies to Guardian Club and standalone bulb purchases
  • No additional processing fee for the monthly batch schedule

  • $5 Rush Processing Fee available for non-subscription bulb orders
  • Processed within 3 business days instead of waiting for the monthly batch
  • Rush option is not available for Guardian Club subscription shipments

Why Monthly Bulb Batching?

Batching all UV bulb orders to the 1st Friday of each month allows us to ensure quality inspection, safe packaging, and the best possible shipping rates for bulb orders. Guardian Club subscription bulbs always follow this schedule.

Most Economical

USPS

The most affordable shipping option for domestic orders.

⚠ Important: USPS may occasionally lose packages and sometimes does NOT scan tracking until right before delivery or upon delivery. If reliable tracking and guaranteed delivery are important to you, we recommend selecting UPS instead.
Recommended

UPS

Slightly higher cost but significantly more reliable tracking and delivery. Recommended for customers who want peace of mind and consistent delivery updates throughout transit.

FedEx

Available for select shipments. Provides reliable tracking and delivery with competitive rates for expedited service.

International

DHL

Used for international shipments to Canada and worldwide destinations. Includes customs handling and international tracking.

Tracking Your Order

Tracking numbers are emailed to you as soon as your order ships. Shopify customers can also track orders by logging in to their account. Amazon orders are tracked through your Amazon account.

Shipping Insurance β€” 5% of Order Value

Add shipping insurance at checkout to protect your order against loss, return-to-sender (RTS), and other carrier-related shipping issues. If your insured package is lost, returned to sender, or experiences a carrier-related shipping issue, we will reship your order at no additional cost.

⚠ Without Shipping Insurance

If you choose not to purchase shipping insurance and your package is lost, returned to sender, or damaged in transit:

  • We cannot issue a refund unless the item is physically returned to our facility
  • UV bulbs are NEVER refundable under any circumstances β€” replacement only
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • A new shipping charge must be paid for any reattempt or reshipment
  • For RTS packages, we must wait to receive the returned package before we can ship it back out

We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance on all orders.

International orders may be subject to additional customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by your country's government. These are not collected by BioShieldUV and are the customer's responsibility. Additional processing time may apply for customs clearance.

What to Do If Something Goes Wrong

If Your Package Appears Missing

  1. Check with neighbors or building management
  2. Review carrier delivery photos (if available)
  3. Wait 2 business days for delayed tracking scans β€” especially with USPS, which sometimes does not scan until final delivery
  4. Contact us to file a carrier claim

  • Must wait for carrier investigation to conclude

Damaged in Shipping

Report Damage Within 48 Hours

If your package arrives damaged, please report it within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging. We will file a carrier claim on your behalf and arrange for a replacement or resolution based on your shipping insurance status.

During peak season (November through January), processing times may increase by 1–2 business days due to higher order volumes. We recommend selecting expedited shipping for time-sensitive holiday orders.

Packaging

All products ship in their original packaging when possible, designed specifically for safe transit. BioShieldUV devices are packaged to withstand standard shipping conditions without double-boxing.
