1: Choose the Location
Select your ideal spot with access to the air duct. Make sure you have at least 14" of duct length for optimal performance.
2: Mount Your Unit
Clean the surface and place the magnetic mount. The strong magnetic base ensures a secure, stable fit.
3: Power Your System
Wall Adaptor: Plug the 120V adaptor into your wall outlet & attach to the BioShield unit on other end.
HVAC integration: Requires wired connection with your central air system’s HVAC ballast directly.
4: Power On
Turn on the unit and confirm the indicator light is illuminated, verifying proper operation and a secure magnetic hold.

You can choose a model based on your space - 18W is perfect for standard rooms and smaller spaces, while 36W provides enhanced coverage for larger areas up to 2,000 sq ft.
Maintenance for the BioShield Magnetic is minimal.
Regularly check the bulb through your viewport (optional) to monitor the status of the UV lamp. If the bulb stops glowing, it needs replacement. You can also get a Guardian Club membership and receive replacement bulbs delivered to your doorstep every 10 months, at a 15% discount.
Additionally, ensure the outer system remains free of dust and debris to maintain optimal performance.
It’s recommended that the HVAC installation be done by a certified technician to ensure proper integration with your central air system and correct connection with the transformer.
You won’t need any special tools for plug-in installation. However, you can choose to install a viewport to keep an eye on the bulb’s status. To facilitate that, a drill bit and viewport cover is included in the kit.
