Remember: Not every UV-C system on the market operates at a safe wavelength. If you are evaluating other brands, check to see if they use 185 nm lamps, as these generate ozone as a byproduct and are not safe for residential use.

Easy Installation in Minutes
Average installation time: 15 minutes 
1: Choose the Location
Select your ideal spot with access to the air duct. Make sure you have at least 14" of duct length for optimal performance.
2: Mount Your Unit
Clean the surface and place the magnetic mount. The strong magnetic base ensures a secure, stable fit.
3: Power Your System
Wall Adaptor: Plug the 120V adaptor into your wall outlet & attach to the BioShield unit on other end.
HVAC integration: Wire the ballast to a 24 VAC supply: a dedicated Class 2 transformer (40 VA for 18W, 75 VA for 36W), or the air handler’s own 24 VAC transformer if it has spare capacity for the load. 36W HVAC includes the 24 VAC ballast; for 18W HVAC it is sold separately. How to wire it.
4: Power On
Turn on the unit and confirm the indicator light is illuminated, verifying proper operation and a secure magnetic hold.
