Please note what kind of support we can provide-

A Note on Installation Support:

We cannot answer the benefits of what UV devices can provide.  Per EPA requirement, in order to advertise the benefits of UV devices, we MUST have lab test to our specific unit to show the pesticidal or health claims.   We can only advise to the technical specification of the devices (what voltage, amperage, power the device uses) for example.  

A Note on Installation Support:

BioShieldUV and its staff cannot provide any technical assistance with the installation.  Not only is each HVAC & HVAC transformer (required for BioSL18-AC) different, but the installation must be done by a licensed professional.  BioShieldUV and its staff can only provide the hardware, tools and generic installation steps/principle. If you need technical assistance with your installation, you MUST consult with a local, licensed & bonded professional. 

A Note on Bulb Warranty:

There is NO warranty on UV bulbs.  They are incandescent bulbs and is meant to last about 6 months (8,000 hours).  It is possible the bulbs do not last as long as the rated 8,000 hours (especially if touched by hand and skin-oil can cause a hot spot on the bulb that will shorten its lifespan).   Also if there's a switch to turn on/off the UV bulb, it will shorten the life of the bulb.  

We recommend joining the BioShield Guardian club as we will provide lifetime warranty on the BioShield HVAC machine as well as an auto ship + 15% program for the bulbs.
