What You CAN Do

How to Cancel Your Guardian Club Membership
Cancellation Process
You can pause or cancel a subscription any time you want in the customer portal (see screenshot in the Quick Reference section above). The only time when the subscription can't be cancelled is if you started a subscription which requires a certain number of payments before you can cancel it.
1. Cancel on Your Own (Fastest Method)
- Access your Customer Portal using the magic link from your subscription email
- Click on "Cancel Subscription" button
- Confirm your cancellation
- Receive instant confirmation
2. Contact Customer Service (Alternative Method)
- Contact us using the chat support on the website
- Include your order number and membership details
3. Confirmation
- We'll confirm your cancellation within 24 hours (if done via customer service)
- You'll receive an email confirmation
- No cancellation fees or penalties
4. What Happens Next
- Current benefits will discontinue immediately
- No future shipments will be sent
- Lifetime warranty immediately terminates
- 6-month bulb warranty ends immediately

Warning: Cancelling Guardian Club means:
- Loss of lifetime unit warranty (reverts to original 1-year if still valid)
- Loss of 6-month bulb warranty (reverts to 14-day DOA only)
- Loss of discounted bulb pricing
- Cannot be reinstated without fees after original warranty expires
Before You Cancel, Consider:
- Pausing shipments instead ($10 fee)
- You've already paid nothing for the membership itself
- Rejoining later costs 50% of current unit price if warranty expired
How to Pause/Skip Shipments
Temporary Pause Process
When to Request:
- At least 14 days before next scheduled shipment
- Cannot pause retroactively
How to Pause:
- Contact customer service
- Pay one-time $10 pause fee (skips the next delivery)
- Receive confirmation email
What Happens:
- Membership benefits continue
- Warranty coverage remains active
- Next shipment delayed by requested time
- Schedule resumes automatically
Pause Limitations:
- Maximum 1 pause in 5 consecutive years
- $10 fee applies each time
How to Modify Your Membership

Update Payment Method
Process:

- Remove old payment method
- Add new credit card or PayPal
- Verify with small authorization charge
When It Takes Effect:
- Immediately for future charges
- Cannot change payment for processed orders
Change Shipping Address
Process:
- Contact support at least 7 days before shipment
- Provide new address
- Confirm address is serviceable
- Update applies to all future shipments
Restrictions:
- Must be within our shipping zones (US/Canada)
- Cannot redirect shipments already in transit

Current Model Locked:

- Cannot switch between Classic and Magnetic
If You Need Different Model:
- Cancel current membership
- Purchase new model
- Start new Guardian Club for new model
Cannot Transfer Membership
Non-Transferable Between:
- Different units (even same model)
- Different owners
- Different addresses permanently
If You Sell Your Unit:
- Cancel your membership
- New owner must start their own
Special Situations
Failed Payment Processing
What Happens:
- First attempt fails - immediate retry
- Second attempt in 3 days
- Third attempt in 7 days
- Email notifications at each stage
- 2-month total grace period
If Unresolved:
- Membership suspended (not cancelled)
- Warranties temporarily inactive
- Reactivate by updating payment
Moving or Relocating
Within United States:
- Simply update shipping address
- No interruption in service
- Standard shipping rates apply
To Canada:
- Contact support for regulatory compliance
- May require additional documentation
- Shipping rates will change
Outside US/Canada:
- Must cancel membership
- No international forwarding available
- Consider pause if returning soon
Product Warranty Claims
While Active Member:
- Lifetime unit coverage
- File claim through customer service
- Replacement ships immediately
- No cost to member
After Cancellation:
- Coverage reverts to original warranty
- If past 1 year, no unit coverage
- Must pay for repairs/replacement
