Questions
Who counts as a new customer?
Someone placing their first order on bioshielduv.com. People who have ordered from our web store before earn you nothing.
What is the commission worked out on?
The order amount after the 5% discount, not counting tax or shipping.
Do Amazon orders count?
No. Only orders placed on bioshielduv.com count. Orders on Amazon or any other marketplace earn nothing, even when the buyer heard about us from you.
What if someone types my code instead of clicking my link?
It counts the same. An order belongs to the code that is on it at checkout.
When do I get paid?
Each commission is held for 45 days after the order. After that it joins your next monthly payout. A balance under $25 carries over to the next month.
Why do you need a W-9?
We need one on file before we can pay you. After approval you upload the signed PDF in your account. It is stored privately and only our accounts team can open it.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Joining is free.
Can I join for both CR Fence & Rail and BioShieldUV?
Yes. The application lets you pick one brand or both. Each brand has its own rate and terms.
Do Guardian Club bulb renewals earn commission?
No. Commission is paid on a new customer’s first order only. Subscription renewals and later orders earn nothing.
Terms and conditions

- The program. The BioShieldUV Affiliate Program is run by BioShieldUV Inc. (“we”). These terms apply to everyone accepted into it. By applying you agree to them.
- Joining. You apply from your bioshielduv.com account. We review each application and may accept or decline it.
- What earns commission. You earn 30% of a qualifying order, up to $60 per order. An order qualifies when it is placed on bioshielduv.com, your code is on it at checkout (your link applies the code; a shopper can also type it), it is the customer’s first order from our web store, and it is not your own order.
- What earns nothing. Orders from customers who have ordered from our web store before. Your own orders, or orders placed with your email. Orders on Amazon or any other marketplace. Subscription renewals. Orders where the shopper replaced your code with a different one.
- The amount commission is paid on. The order total after the 5% discount, excluding tax and shipping.
- Hold, refunds and cancellations. Each commission is held for 45 days from the order. If the order is cancelled or fully refunded in that time, the commission is reversed. A partial refund reduces the commission to match.
- Payment. Commissions that have cleared the hold are paid monthly by bank transfer. We pay once your balance reaches $25; a smaller balance carries over to the next month. We must have your signed W-9 before your first payout.
- Your audience’s discount. Your code gives 5% off. One code applies per order.
- Promotion you may not use. Coupon, deal, cashback or rebate sites and browser extensions. Paid search ads that bid on our brand names (BioShieldUV, BioShield, MagShield or ApxShield). Using your own link or code to buy for yourself.
- Disclosure. Whenever you share your link or code, you must clearly disclose that you earn a commission, where people see it before they click, for example “I earn a commission if you buy through this link” or “#ad”. The FTC’s Endorsement Guides require this.
- Product claims. Describe BioShieldUV as a UV-C coil-cleaning light for HVAC systems. Do not call it germicidal, sterilizing, disinfecting, sanitizing or an air purifier, and do not make health claims about it. We may ask you to correct a post that does.
- Suspension and ending. If you break these terms we may suspend you or end your participation. While you are suspended, new orders earn nothing and payouts are paused. We may end your participation or the program at any time.
- Changes to these terms. We may change these terms, including the rate and the discount, by updating this page. A new rate applies to commissions recorded after the change; commissions already recorded keep the rate they were recorded at. A new discount applies to codes issued after the change.
